With the March 8 deadline for entries looming, organizers of the 36th annual Belding Awards are reminding entrants of revamped rules that include a crackdown on bogus ads.

The May 16 event, hosted by the Los Angeles Ad Club, will feature broader categories, with ads competing strictly by medium. For example, TV ads will compete against all other TV ads. In addition, a new “Best Book” award will go to the agency doing the best work overall.
