CHICAGO--Bcom3 posted a two percent increase in revenue for the second quarter of 2001, compared with the same period last year.
The Chicago-based holding company reported revenue of $480 million for the three months ending June 30, compared with $470 million for the same period last year, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
For the six months ending June 30, Bcom3?s consolidated worldwide revenue increased 9 percent, to $927 million from $851 million for the comparable period of 2000.
The holding company for Leo Burnett and D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles posted net income of $4.5 million for the second quarter and $7 million for the first six months of 2000. The company posted losses per share of $2.89 and $6.01, for the three and six month periods.
