NEW YORK Roger Bare has been promoted to vice president and general manager of KHWB-TV, Tribune Broadcasting’s WB affiliate in Houston. Bare, who has served as the station’s general sales manager since 1998, succeeds Tom Ehlmann, who will take over as vp, general manager of WGN-TV, the company’s WB affiliate in Chicago, on April 26.

“Roger’s experience positions him perfectly to continue KHWB’s history of service to viewers and advertisers in the Houston area,” said John Reardon, Tribune group vice president, to whom Bare reports.
