NEW YORK - As expected, (Adweek, May 24) Ayer/N.Y. won the $7-10 million Pep Boys account from Admarketing/Los Angeles. The nation's largest automotive retailer gave Ayer the account without a review after reviewing the creative reels of several agencies.
