NEW YORK — Avaya has selected McCann-Erickson to handle its estimated $30 creative account, with Interpublic Group of Cos. sibling Universal McCann picking up media duties, the client confirmed.

In a statement, Avaya vp and CMO Yvonne Curl said, “McCann clearly understands Avaya’s business and our vision. They offer great strategic insights, as well as a comprehensive plan to drive Avaya’s brand to the next level.”

The review had included Bates Technology Group in Atlanta; Doremus, New York; Arnold, Boston; and Mullen, Wenham, Mass.
