DALLAS The Austin Advertising Federation bestowed Ad Woman of the Year honors on Milkshake Media founder Katherine Jones and named The Cartis Group president Shannon Carter Ad Man of the Year at its annual Big Wig Awards yesterday.
The awards were among 21 presented to vendors, suppliers and sales representatives serving the advertising industry, said federation president Scott Van Osdol.
“This is our chance to thank the unsung heroes of advertising—the service providers—those people who labor quietly to produce and place the brilliant ads and broadcast spots that win Austin so many regional and national Addy Awards,” Van Osdol said.
