Erwin-Penland has added three staffers and promoted one. Laura Carpenter has been named account executive for the Greenville, S.C., shop’s Verizon Wireless account. She is a recent graduate of Clemson University in Clemson, S.C. Brock Koonce also has been hired as an account executive. He will be responsible for Verizon Wireless sponsorships. Koonce previously held the same position at Henderson Advertising in Greenville. Karen Walker has been assigned to accounts such as Wachovia and Uniroyal Tires as a copywriter.
