Allen & Gerritsen has added a pair of technology clients, Kronos and New England Streaming Media, to its roster.
Chelmsford, Mass.-based Kronos, a maker of data-collection and labor-management software, tapped A&G to help position the company in a new category: human resources management. The agency will craft print-based campaigns for the client that will likely run in business publications and the trade press.
Upcoming efforts will target healthcare, manufacturing, retail and government segments, the key markets for Kronos' products and services. Watertown, Mass.-based A&G succeeds Girvin Strategic Branding & Design, Seattle, on the Kronos account. A&G was awarded the business following a review.
A&G becomes the first agency for NESM. The Somerville, Mass., concern is looking to A&G to help establish a brand identity to launch the new company. Initial chores include overall corporate positioning, Web design, collateral and signage. Print and interactive campaigns are also planned.
The wins underscore the fact that the shop remains committed to its high-tech and b-to-b roots. A&G recently branched out into consumer advertising, a priority for president Andrew Graff. Combined budgets for Kronos and NESM will be in the low seven figures, Graff said.
A&G ranks among New England's largest independently owned shops, tallying approximately $100 million in billings and revenue of $14 million, according to CMR. The shop enjoyed 10 percent growth in 2001.
