A/k/a Advertising in Lafayette, La., has opened a New Orleans office and promoted a five-year staffer to head the operation.
Elisabeth Wilson was recently named vice president of regional accounts for a/k/a. She will lead the agency’s foray into the Big Easy and the Gulf Coast region.
It was not disclosed how many employees would staff the new site.
“We see great potential in New Orleans for both our creative products and our public relations expertise,” said Wilson, who has been with owner and creative director Kiki Frayard since the small agency was founded in 1993.
Among Wilson’s clients are Community Coffee, Louisiana Health System and American Aviation.
The agency also has an office in Baton Rouge, La.
