FCBi and FCB Healthcare, both New York, picked up some branding assignments ear lier this month from Endo Pharmaceuticals, the maker of Percocet, Lidoderm and other pain-management drugs, sources said. The Chadds Ford, Pa.-based client also wants the network to develop its Web site, Endo.com, which is currently under construction. The assignments, which involve Percocet, Lidoderm and two as-yet-unnamed drugs, followed a review of undisclosed agencies, a source said. Billings have not been determined.

Gotham landed creative and media duties for AOL Moviefone and is expected to launch its first work—a campaign featuring a theater ad—in April. Billings are estimated at $10 million. Previously, the account was at New York shop Mad Dogs & Englishmen. New York-based Gotham was selected in part due to its existing relationship with AOL, one of its largest clients. (AOL purchased Moviefone, a movie-ticket-buying service that also provides show times, in 1999.) Gotham's first work will depict a range of "moviegoing scenarios" and target 18- to 34-year-olds, said agency CEO Stone Roberts. The campaign will also include TV, radio and print ads.

Radiate Group, an event-marketing holding company, acquired C2 Creative, a New York-based marketing- and events-communications company. C2 Creative, founded in 1982, creates business-to-business events, meetings, multimedia and video presentations, and custom Web executions. It has 40 employees. Partners Larry Merenstein and Rod Morrison will report to Radiate CEO Gary Reynolds. Boca Raton, Fla.-based Radiate, part of Omnicom Group, creates sports, entertainment and lifestyle events.

Hilary Topper, president/CEO of HJMT Communications, was named one of Long Island Business News' "40 Under 40." The designation is given to 40 people each year to honor their contributions to the local business community. Topper was recognized with the other honorees at a breakfast held in Plainview on Jan. 31. HJMT Communications is a public relations, marketing and advertising agency in Long Beach.

Gianettino & Meredith Advertising in Short Hills won the 2002 New York Metro A.I.R. (Achievement in Radio) Award for best radio commercial at the Metro A.I.R. Awards ceremony, held on Feb. 12 in New York. The shop received the award for "The Executor," a spot it created for lawyers.com. The agency was also nomi nated in the same category for a commercial it created for Resorts International Casino/Hotel.

Dennis Chominsky, president of PFS Marketwyse, an advertising, communications and production company in Totowa, re ceived a 2001 Iris Award of Merit from the New Jersey chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. Cho minsky won the award in the electronic-communications category for a corporate-identity video he created for Madison-based biopharmaceutical com pany American Home Products. The NJ/IABC awards ceremony took place in Convent Station on Jan. 31.
