The five contenders in Procter & Gamble’s $2.5 billion communications-planning review made final pitches last week, the client said. Participating are Grey Global Group’s MediaCom and Havas’ MPG, both New York, and Publicis’ Starcom MediaVest Group in Chicago and New York, all roster shops. Aegis’ Carat in New York and Omnicom’s Targetbase in Irving, Texas, are also contending. A decision is due in July.
