NEW YORK Porsche Cars North America has awarded its approximately $45 million media account to independent Santa Monica, Calif.-based agency Kastner & Partners after a review that began last November, the client has confirmed.
In addition to the incumbent, Omnicom Group's PHD, Porsche's lead creative shop, Interpublic Group's Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis, also pitched the media business, sources said.
One source with knowledge of the situation described the review as "procurement based."
Contenders either declined comment or could not be reached.
Kastner also works for Red Bull Energy Drink and UBI Soft Entertainment.
