NEW YORK Havas' Euro RSCG has won creative chores on the Charles Schwab account following a review, the agency confirmed. The client spends more than $100 million annually on ads.

A new campaign for the client is slated to launch early next year.

David Jones, CEO of Euro RSCG in New York, who led the agency's pitch, said in a statement, "We will partner with this iconic financial services brand to tell its phenomenal story, leverage its power across all communications channels, and propel its growth and success. They have a tremendously accomplished marketing team and we look forward to working with them."

The San Francisco-based brokerage chose the agency over Grey Global Group's Grey in New York; Publicis Groupe's Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco; and independent Wieden + Kennedy in Portland, Ore.

Becky Saeger, client evp, brand management and marketing communication, noted Euro RSCG's "vision, strategic and creative depth" as prompting the shop's selection.

Omnicom Group's GSD&M in Austin, Texas, had handled the assignment.

Select Resources International in Santa Monica, Calif., oversaw the review process.

This story updates an item posted on Nov. 30 with confirmation and details of Euro RSCG's win.
