NEW YORK Footwear and apparel company Timberland is hosting a series of outdoor, environment-themed events in 10 U.S. cities as part of its 2009 sponsorship of next month’s Green Apple Festival.

The festival is an annual music and Earth Day awareness event that  began in New York and is now in its third year. Participating cities in ’09 include New York, Boston, Denver, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and San Francisco, among others.

Timberland has tailored the events to fit each city’s interests.
