Scheyer/SF has been awarded a $3 million ad account to promote health food company Nutribiotic’s Prozone Energy Bar. The business was previously handled in-house.
Agency principal Dennis Scheyer said the shop will first develop trade and consumer print advertising. Radio spots may be created later, he said.
“Our challenge will be to advertise in an impossibly crowded market and promote [how Prozone is different],” said Jerry Patrick, an agency partner and new product specialist.
Prozone Energy Bars are nationally distributed in retail outlets, primarily through health food stores such as Whole Foods.
Separately, Scheyer/SF has also picked up a project from soy milk and health food manufacturer Vitasoy.
