Fox benefited this week by the still ample American Idol and the 2011 AFC-NFC Pro Bowl on Sunday. Fox rose by as much as 23 percent in total viewers from the same year-ago period and more than doubled its rating among both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.
Despite a fourth-place finish among adults 18-34, CBS came in second across the board. But the sharp double-digit erosion is a reflection of the Grammy Awards airing that Sunday a year ago.
