Cannes will definitely be a-Twitter this year. The service has grown dramatically since last year, when Twitter co-founder Biz Stone came to the conference to speak at a seminar. We've compiled a Twitter list of ad folks on the ground and are streaming their tweets in the sidebar here on RealTimeCannes. You can also follow this list to get their updates. Also, please follow Team Adweek: @bmorrissey (digital editor Brian Morrissey), @eparpis (creative editor Eleftheria Parpis) and @blipp (ad critic Barbara Lippert). Here are a few of the accounts we're keeping close tabs on:
@davidondemand. The hirsuite Leo Burnett recruiter David Perez is roaming the festival as part of a real-time human equivalent of Subservient Chicken. If you tweet it, Perez will do it. This could get ugly.
@cpbjeff. Crispin Porter + Bogusky interactive ecd Jeff Benjamin is jury chair for the Cyber category. He might not reveal too much about the deliberations, but Benjamin is already adjusting his farmer's tan for his time in the Riviera.
@rga. R/GA chief creative officer Nick Law is taking the reins of the company Twitter account for the week. Asked if he would "bring the thunder," Law said he has no choice since "thunder is quite expensive in Cannes."
@bastholm. Newly minted Ogilvy New York chief creative officer Lars Bastholm promises to document his adventures along the Croisette.
