One Show Interactive Names Finalists

NEW YORK -- More than 175 finalists have been named for the 2002 One Show Interactive, an awards show that honors excellence in new media.

This year, the fifth annual interactive show received entries from agencies representing 36 countries. U.S.-based agencies earned a combined 100 nominations for the Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencils.

Some of the finalists include:

Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco for Hewlett-Packard

Modem Media in San Francisco for Hewlett-Packard and Intel
OgilvyInteractive in New York for IBM
R/GA in New York for Nike, Activision and Clairol
TBWA\Chiat\Day in Playa del Rey, Calif., for Nissan
Tribal DDB in London for The Guardian and Volkswagon

The prized pencils will be handed out in twelve categories including banner and beyond-the-banner advertising, Web site design, CD-Rom and integrated branding at the gala on May 8 at the Puck Building in New York.
