Four New York shops have qualified to advance in the review for the $50-60 million New York State Lottery account.
Incumbent DDB Needham, Grey Advertising, Avrett, Free & Ginsberg and Lowe & Partners/SMS sent representatives to a mandatory meeting April 30, allowing them to continue to the next phase of the review, said Matt Mansfield, director of advertising and promotion for the Lottery. Sources said DDB, Grey and Avrett will continue. Lowe declined comment.
Bowing out were McCann-Erickson, Partners & Shevack, Jordan McGrath Case & Partners and Young & Rubicam, all New York.
