Playoffs begin April 19th, and this latest NBA work from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners’ “Believe, Dream, Work, Fear,” series is like a searingly inspirational chant. Thanks to some major techno-magic, two players make up one split, slightly Picasso-esque face, and speak in a single (or convergent) voice, backed by brooding music. The effect is at once odd, and even creepy, but also deeply moving. It’s also an inner voice: “After 82 games,” says Steve Nash and Jason Kidd, “there’s part of you that wonders if you have anything left.
