MRM London acquired direct and digital independent Meteorite. The McCann Worldgroup unit did not disclose terms.

The new entity, MRM Meteorite, will be led by Meteorite’s top executives, Hugh Bishop and Debbie Smith, with titles still being finalized. A McCann rep declined to comment on whether MRM London chief executive Mike Cornwell will stay at the combined company.

MRM Meteorite will have more than 160 employees. MRM London has worked for Vauxhall, Microsoft, Intel, Dell, Nationwide, and MasterCard.
