Comcast has selected digital shop HUGE to lead work on Comcast.com, the cable provider's online storefront, the IPG-owned agency announced Wednesday.

HUGE's focus will be on improving the site's appearance and customer experience. In a statement on the agency's selection, Comcast.com svp, gm John Williamson cited “HUGE’s experience in digital business and e-commerce across so many industries, and their focus on using design and technology to make life easier for people."

HUGE is known for designing sleek e-commerce sites for brands such as JetBlue and IKEA, and contributed to the relaunch of Target.com unveiled this week. The Brooklyn-based shop won and began work on Comcast.com earlier this year after a competitive pitch. Boston-based consulting firm Pile & Company handled the selection process.

Also on the Comcast roster: Omnicom-owned creative advertising agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, and Publicis-owned Digitas, which works on digital direct marketing for the brand.
