BOSTON Hill, Holliday has appointed Rob Rich evp, group creative director, and he will partner with veteran Ernie Schenck, who holds the same titles, to oversee two of the agency's key financial-services accounts: Bank of America and Liberty Mutual.

Rich is an art director by trade, and Schenck is a copywriter.

Rich joins the Interpublic Group agency here from Publicis in Seattle, where he was evp, ecd and worked on Hewlett-Packard, T-Mobile, Citibank, Coke and Heineken, among others.

He's no stranger to the New England market, having worked in the region most recently at IPG's Mullen in Wenham, Mass., on business such as Monster.com, Oxygen Media, Nextel and Houghton-Mifflin. Other local stops for Rich include Ingalls, Leonard Monahan and Clarke Goward.

Rich said Hill, Holliday's momentum and willingness to adapt ideas across multimedia made the shop a good fit for his skill set and talents.

Kevin Moehlenkamp, chief creative at Hill, Holliday, said Rich was hired following an 18-month search to find a creative exec with "big brand experience" to complement Schenck.
