NEW YORK Google said today that it has expanded its AdSense program to include five additional languages.

The 9-month-old program, which lets Web publishers deliver text-based ads targeted to search results or a page’s content, is now available in Spanish, French, German, Italian and Japanese interfaces in addition to the original English version.

Google pays the publisher when users click on an ad from its network of 150,000 advertisers, such as Dow, CareerBuilder, Expedia, Renault, Boston Chauffeur and AmericanMeadows.com.
