A new Denny's campaign is waging war on fast food breakfast sandwiches made by the "machines," with new ads promising "the humans will win" by eating the people-prepared Grand Slamwich. The Terminator-tinged argument against the competition's unnatural food is well made in an introductory 30-second spot that sets the theme with dark, menacing shots of moving metal prepping food, or what is passed off as food, and a robot greets viewers with a sinister "rise and shine." A voiceover asks consumers to "fight back" and the spot turns to a sunny Denny's kitchen where real chefs are cooking the new breakfast sandwich.
