SAN FRANCISCO Carmichael Lynch has pulled out of the review for Western Wireless’ estimated $15 million creative and media account, according to client and agency representatives.

The Minneapolis shop cited workload concerns as the reason it withdrew.

Agencies still in contention are: independent Hoffman/Lewis in San Francisco, Publicis Groupe’s Publicis in Mid America in Dallas and Interpublic Group’s Temerlin McClain in Irving, Texas. The Bellevue, Wash.-based client previously worked with smaller undisclosed shops in the Pacific Northwest.
