Days after naming a new global CEO, Young & Rubicam is changing creative leadership in New York.

Scott Vitrone and Ian Reichenthal, co-executive creative directors of the New York office since the spring of 2008, are out, and Y&R is seeking a replacement, the WPP Group shop confirmed today.

Y&R is believed to be talking to several candidates but has yet to ink anyone. Going forward, the office is expected to have a single creative leader rather than two.

New York president Jane Barratt described the move as an “opportunity to build our team of great creative storytellers with deep experience across all channels.”
