NEW YORK Carnival Cruise Lines has cut to three agency finalists in its $70-80 million marketing services review, said Ark Advisors, the consultancy managing the process.

Advancing to the final round are Interpublic Group units Deutsch and McCann Erickson, both in New York, and Havas’ Arnold in Boston, said Ken Robinson, a principal at Ark here.

Client executives will brief the contenders next week at Carnival’s headquarters in Miami. Final presentations are slated for late May, also at Carnival.

The cut came after client execs visited seven shops this week.
