Car2Go is searching for a new agency. It is unclear how many will be pitching the business but responses to the company's request for qualifications, which it sent out to several agencies, are due today.
The company is looking for a fresh perspective, a rep said. The company's most recent North American campaign is by Austin-based EnviroMedia. The agency will not compete for the business, according to an EnviroMedia spokesman.
Kantar Media did not have spending estimates for the company, which is part of a budding trend of eco-friendly collaborative consumption brands like Uber and Airbnb.
Finalists will be selected on May 14 and pitches are slated for May 29. An agency will be selected in June.
Car2Go's spokeswoman declined to provide more information.
