SYDNEY – One of Australia’s first two pay TV operators, Hi-Vision, has asked several agencies to pitch for its $20-million account even before it has paid the federal government for its new license. Hi-Vision is understood to have short listed, among others, Lintas, DDB Needham, George Patterson and independent creative boutique Andromeda. Half of the budget will go into mainstream advertising with the remainder split between direct marketing and public relations. A number of direct marketing and pr companies are also vying for Hi-Vision’s business.
