ILLINOIS





Emphasis Seven Communications, Chicago, was named agency of record for KMC Telecom, Bedminister, N.J. The agency will introduce and market KMC's fiber optic telecommunications services in more than 20 states.





Donald L. Arends, Oak Brook, was chosen to assist with domestic and international trade show exhibits for Lorin Industries, Muskegon, Mich.





Kaye & Co., Northbrook, was named agency of record for Avondale Federal Savings Bank, Chicago.





INDIANA





Cabello Bodkin Marketing Design, Zionsville, has been chosen to provide creative and marketing for: Red Bird Service, Osgood; Martin's Cleaning and Restoration Services, Martinsville; D.C. Licht, Indianapolis; and S.A. Ridgeway Contracting and Ganache, both of Zionsville.





HeldDiedrich, Indianapolis, was named agency for Benchmark Products, Indianapolis, a provider of products and services to the surfacing and finishing industry.





KANSAS





The Avion Group, Lenexa, was chosen to provide marketing and public relations for Buckmaster Publishing. The Mineral, Va.-based company specializes in multimedia research tools.





KENTUCKY





FSM Marketing Communications, Louisville, has added three new clients: Michelson Jewelers, Paducah; MAC Construction and Excavating, New Albany, Ind.; and American Family Orthodontics, Louisville. FSM will provide advertising, public relations, market research and promotion services.





Creative Alliance, Louisville, was named agency of record for Louisville-based Vermont American Tool Co.'s power tool accessory and hand tool divisions.





MICHIGAN





Stap & Co., Kalamazoo, was awarded the Keystone Community Bank account. The agency will handle corporate identity, brand development, advertising, literature and promotions for the Kalamazoo bank.





Stone, August, Baker & Co., Troy, was named the national Yellow Pages advertising agency for Draw-Tie. The Canton, Mich.-based company manufactures towing systems for U.S. and Canadian distributors and dealers.





MINNESOTA





Colle & McVoy, Minneapolis, was named agency of record for part of Monsanto's newly reorganized Specialty Chemicals Group, St. Louis. The agency will handle integrated marketing for Monsanto's Therminol and Glacier product lines.





Creative Communications Consultants, Minneapolis, has added three new industrial clients: DeZurik, Sartell; and Illbruck, both Minneapolis; and UFE Inc., Stillwater.





MISSOURI





Kochan & Company Advertising and Marketing, St. Louis, was chosen by John Stark Printing Co., St. Louis, to introduce its new printing press. Kochan will handle public relations and develop a direct mail campaign for Stark. The agency was also named agency of record by Crane National Vendors, St. Louis, which manufactures vending machines.





Direct Impact, St. Louis, was named agency of record for Karl Bissinger French Confections, St. Louis. The agency will develop direct mail, print and broadcast for the gourmet chocolate marketer's catalogue and retail operations.





Drone & Mueller and Associates, St. Louis, was selected to create a communications program for Hess America, Shelby, N.C. The company manufactures architectural area lighting.





OHIO





Gregory, Cleveland, was assigned collateral design and marketing assistance for Electroline Manufacturing Co. Electroline, Cleveland, makes electrical fittings.





NCS HealthCare assigned its marketing communications account to Arocom Marketing Group, a division of Meldrum & Fewsmith in Cleveland. NCS, Beachwood, provides pharmaceuticals and related services to the long-term, institutional healthcare market.





Soltis, Tangeman & Partners, Fairlawn, was named agency of record for the newly formed Great American Hall of Fame Connection, a joint marketing effort of three Halls of Fame in Northeast Ohio: The Pro Football Hall of Fame, The National Inventors Hall of Fame and The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.





Hsiung & Associates, Cincinnati, was chosen to develop a repositioning branding campaign for Cellwood Products, Sidney. The agency will handle creative, media and public relations for the Cellwood, Shuttercraft and American Pride brand of vinyl shutters.





Edward Howard & Co., Cleveland, was chosen by Major League Baseball Properties, based in New York, to promote the 1997 Pinnacle All-Star FanFest in Cleveland.





SBC Advertising, Columbus, has added two new clients: Central Benefits Mutual Insurance Company, Columbus, and GOJO Industries, Akron.





WISCONSIN





Advertising, Boelter & Lincoln, Madison, was chosen to create a corporate image and boost trade show advertising for PanVera Corp., Madison. The agency was also selected by General Casualty Insurance Companies, Sun Prairie, for marketing.





Meyer & Wallis, Milwaukee, was chosen as agency of record for Milwaukee-based Cardinal Stritch College's undergraduate, graduate, weekend and evening programs.





Nelson & Schmidt Marketing Communications, Milwaukee, was named agency for two new clients: Park Bank, Milwaukee, and Northern Technical Services, Milwaukee.
