ABC to Handle Sales for 'American Eagle' Sign

ABC Regional Sports and Entertainment Sales announced Thursday (Nov. 5) an exclusive deal to handle sales for American Eagle Outfitters’ new electronic sign in New York City’s Times Square.

The 15,000 square-foot sign featuring 12 LED panels, is located at 1551 Broadway and 46th Street, where American Eagle Outfitters will open its new flagship store Thursday, Nov. 19. Advertising options include real-time delivery and the ability to showcase multiple products.

“The sign’s unique platform will deliver a fully interactive media and marketing program that will capture the coveted 15- to 24-year-old demographic, as well as the millions of other tourists that pass through Times Square,” said Gerald Griffin, senior vp of ABC Regional Sports and Entertainment Sales, a division of ABC National Television Sales.

In addition to the American Eagle Outfitters sign, ABC is the sales representative for a number of Times Square signs including the Walgreens Spectacular, City Investment Fund’s Mediamesh sign on the Crowne Plaza and the ABC SuperSign.
