Who Needs the NYT Weekender When There's the 'Skimmer'

For those of you who (in theory) miss the experience of reading the actual paper in the morning but have yet to purchase, say, a new Kindle this may be a nice middle ground. The NYT‘s article skimmerunveiled a few weeks ago — makes reading the paper online just a little bit closer to the print experience.


The Times says their goal was to mimic the fundamentals of the kitchen table reading experience: “It is empowering to spread so much information out on a table, so we spread as many stories as we can fit into the space of your screen.”
