Who Knew? Today Is International Women's Day

We just found out that today is an official holiday- International Women’s Day. Never heard of it. So we did a little reading. According to the IWD website, “International Women’s Day has been observed since in the early 1900’s, a time of great expansion and turbulence in the industrialized world that saw booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies.” The theme of IWD this year is “women and men united to end violence against women and girls.”
