Washington DC Interns Pay High Price of Entrance

If you think your internship pays poorly, well check out this new disturbing trend popping up in the nation’s capital. Students have begun to penny up $7,000 to $9,000 to make sure they land an unpaid internship in Washington, D.C.

According to a new Washington Post report, these companies land about 2,500 students each year with internships in the capital. Often these companies work as non-profits, and provide housing for the student intern. But some charge as high as $9,000 for access into the coveted spots.
