Two Steps Forward, Three Steps Back

All the news we’ve heard about marketing being in the toilet? Sad stuff, but apparently it’s not entirely true, MSNBC reports. The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council’s annual Marketing Outlook study reports that half of marketers surveyed worldwide are planning to hold firm on budgets or increase them. Nearly one third plan at least a small increase in budget, and 8.2 percent are planning to hike their budgets by at least 10 percent.
