TIME Magazine 'Protester' Issue Up for Three Society of Publication Designers Awards

TIME magazine’s “The Protester” issue, with its cover inspired by photographer Ted Soqui’s shot of OccupyLA protester Sarah Mason, has been nominated for three Society of Publication Designers awards. Surprisingly, however, “Best Cover” was not among its honors. “The Protester” is a finalist for “Photo: Feature, Profile, Non-Celebrity (single/spread),” “Photo: Feature, Profile, Non-Celebrity (story),” and “Photo: Entire Issue.”
