Strike Watch: Congressman John Hall Visits CBS NY Newsroom
This afternoon New York Congressman John Hall visited the CBS Network Television newsroom. In late November a majority of about 300 unionized CBS producers, editors, graphic artists and news writers voted to authorize a strike by a wide margin. From the WGA East:
”Congressman Hall’s visit follows a meeting he held today with WGAE leadership including President Michael Winship. It also follows recent newsroom visits by Congressman Jerry Nadler (D-NY), who drew attention to the issues of the local NY shops by visiting WCBS-TV and WCBS-AM 880, and Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer.”
