Sally Buzbee Named AP's Washington Bureau Chief
Sally Buzbee, The Associated Press’ deputy managing editor, has been named chief of its Washington bureau, where she will work with over 100 reporters and editors across the nation’s capital. She succeeds Ron Fournier, who left the AP to become editor in chief of the National Journal Group
Buzbee formerly led the AP’s News Center in New York. Tom Kent, the AP’s deputy managing editor for standards and production, will serve as head of the News Center until a permanent replacement is found.
