Hey, if you have to send a rejection letter out to a candidate, make sure it’s the right one—and don’t wait a year and a half to do it.
A year and a half!
Tim Sackett applied for a job 18 months ago and got a rejection postcard in the mail recently, after completely forgetting about the application.
18 months…18 MONTHS…I mean we’re not talking about practice here – we’re talking about a real recruiting game! The funny part of all of this, was after sending my resume, and completely forgetting about the opening, I never gave this another thought, until this postcard.
