PR Skills Are Relevant No Matter Where You Are

According to a survey by the Council of Public Relations Firms (CPRF), 74 percent of PR firms had higher revenue in the first half of 2010 than the same half a year ago, and 81 percent expect that their full-year revenues will be better in 2010.

A slightly older survey by CPRF found that many PR pros said their skills were relevant even during the downturn, saying that enforcing transparency in the corporate world and helping the government communicate with the nation were areas in which PR-trained pros could thrive.
