Pakistani Journalists Share Their Views with The New York Times

Last year the New York Times polled over 350 Pakistani journalists to get their perspective on a variety of issues, such how much religion impacts them and the United States’ occupation of their land.

Some of the findings are not that surprising. A majority of the journalists identify themselves as Muslim above anything else, and likewise 75 percent reported that “belief in God” was needed in order to have good moral values.

But then there are a few answers that some might find unexpected, such as despite 77 percent of them opposing U.S.
