Things are looking up for The New York Times. According to the New York Post, Standard & Poor upgraded the company’s credit rating outlook from stable to positive, and said the Times was worthy of its B+ corporate rating.
“The outlook revision to positive reflects our increasing confidence that the New York Times will continue to prudently manage its balance sheet and reduce debt,” S&P analyst Minesh Patel told the Post.
Is it just us, or does that sound more like a warning than a compliment?
