In an effort to capitalize more on its great fiction, The New Yorker has launched a podcast titled The Author’s Voice: New Fiction from The New Yorker.
The podcast will feature audio of New Yorker fiction pieces, read by the authors. Previously, these audio versions were only available on The New Yorker’s site and digital edition.
“One thing that we’ve learned from The New Yorker Fiction Podcast is that people love listening to stories, people love being read to,” said New Yorker fiction editor Deborah Treisman, in an announcement.
