New Rochelle Editor Replaced After Plagiarism Dust-Up
AOL Patch has replaced the New Rochelle editor who was found to have lifted an image of cropped mug shots from a local blogger.
Patch editor Allison Esposito, reports Talk of the Sound (the blog whose mug shots were the ones in question), has been replaced by editor Michael Woyton, who has eight years of print newspaper experience at the Poughkeepsie Journal.
We have reached out to Esposito’s boss, Katy O’Connor, about whether Esposito has a future with Patch in a different city. We’ll let you know when we hear back.
