NBC Changes Phelps Picture...For the Better
As of this morning the US is leading the world in bronze medals. “We’re number three! We’re number three!”
We’ve been watching the coverage of the amazing gold medal sweeping Michael Phelps and on television. The picture NBC is using is beyond unflattering. He’s not that hard to look at. This is a bad angle. Somehow it makes him look middle aged and drunk. Where did they get that pic? From the DMV? What were the other ones in the batch that didn’t make the cut?! But that’s the photograph in all the graphics that NBC continues (at least as of last night) to use on the television coverage.
