More Mental Health Days

A third of employees have called in sick when they weren’t actually sick, a new poll from Careerbuilder finds. And more than a quarter of employers have seen an increase in fake sick days recently.

Blame the stresses of work and the fact that nobody gets real vacations anymore.

Seven in ten ask for a doctor’s note if you fake the sniffles; half called the sick employee at home, and fifteen percent actually confessed to driving by the employee’s house.
