Anders Braso has been named the new publisher of Monocle. Braso was most recently Monocle’s advertising director. He has been with the magazine since it launched in 2007. Braso is succeeding Pamela Mullinger, who will be tasked with increasing the magazine’s North American presence.
“Monocle has defied the market and found a formula for mixing print, audio and online that appeals to readers and also our commercial partners,” said editor Andrew Tuck, in a statement. “Anders has been key to that success with his commitment and drive and I am excited about the opportunities for us to continue to grow in 2014 with him at the helm.”
Braso’s appointment is effective immediately.
