Media Professionals Fail to Capture Arizona Senate Bid

Yesterday we had mentioned that two media professionals were partaking in Arizona Senate primaries held on Tuesday. One, John Dougherty, an investigative reporter, while the other, J.D. Hayworth a former representative turned political radio host. Well, unfortunately, neither of the two candidates pulled enough votes to win their respected party primaries.

Dougherty, who has worked as an investigative reporter for 25-plus years, entered the night as an underdog. But he eventually pulled in 23 percent of the vote during the Democratic primary.
