What’s in a name? In the case of Elizabeth Line, a wave of unexpected Twitter trending and media coverage, both here in the U.S. and in the U.K.

The vice president of activation and operations for Condé Nast’s 23 Stories was thrown into the U.K. coincidental crosshairs earlier this week when it was announced that a London tube National Rail line was being renamed the Elizabeth Line, in honor of Queen Elizabeth. In short order, Line was barreling through coverage from the Daily Mail, PIX 11, BBC Radio and London’s Evening Standard newspaper:

Miss Line told the Standard: “I’m thrilled about it. Nothing like waking up to a little insta-celebrity.”

“When I found out I was trending on Twitter this morning, there were a few moments of “what did I do last night” panic but now I’m just having fun with it.”

On Twitter, Line described Tuesday as a “fantastic day” that she will never forget.
